    On a laptop it is a little harder to find the CMOS jumper than on a normal desktop.

    What kind of sister would delete their own brothers uni work??

          What brand laptop would probably help too.

          Is it a big namer good machine like Compaq Armarda, Toshiba Sat Pro, etc or some cheap crap like a Pavilion, Gateway, Acer etc...?

            The Stinkpad I have lets me also enter a Hard disk password. Forget this and you can throw the HD in the bin.
