For all of you that think a two year old can do a burnout... maybe you should get a copy of the footage of Peter Gray entering the burnout pad at the Good Friday burnout comp that just happened at the Motorplex on the weekend.

That was complete skill - scared the sh*it out of people simply watching it haha.

Anyone from Perth that saw this will agree - complete skill - while doing a burnout.

Either way - cars should be defected for being DEFECTIVE - and for no other reason.

hehe yep, my street has a big black line outside my place but that was my mate not me, lol, but ne way, i was at easternats on the sunday and witness a pretty big verbal fight in the carpark over a prang on the track, didn't get much about it but there were 2 pretty worked up groups, and there was also a vl going round all day with the front and back both rooted. I agree with you guys, i couldn;t beilive how they could let people do burnuts then 2metres next to em cars going past at whatever speed they want, asking for trouble if ya ask me.

As is the case with a mate of mine, he needed new rubber for his commy, so put his 2 good tyres on the front (being that it does all the steering and CONTROLLING of the car) and borrowed 2x stockers off a mate to keep him going until he could afford new tyres..... other option would have been for him to run tyres that looked like slicks on the street....... I realize I'm fighting a losing battle here, but , the general public aren't ringing the cops about some unroadworthy pos driving down the road. As I keep saying, it is the cars doing burnouts everywhere on the streets with the 140db stereo chiming in for good measure. The are defecting those cars just to piss you off. And it's working.
By the way, there is a legal offstreet burnout comp this weekend in Adelaide with prizemoney etc at Speedway park.

We just got home today - have about 10 pics, 3 of which I will post here.

AS can be seen there were two cars doing burnouts - (Red VC and Black VR) side by side, they had been going for about 20-25 sec at which time the gold VH tried to drive through the middle of the two. Unfortunatley - he hit the rear of the Black VR rather hard.

The driver of the VR was taken to Hospital due to being knocked unconcious. The passenger in the VS (his girlfriend) was not cut out of the car, but was lifted out and carried away on a stretcher with a neck brace on after complaining of a sore neck. Both were released from hospital later that day.

wazza - I didnt say anyone was a wanker, I failed to think of a logical reason why someone would put pursuities on the back and their nice rims on the front, bar doing burnouts, but as I'm sure someone else could think of one, hence I worded it as a question.

Generally though its a FAIR ASSUMPTION that if ya see someone driving around with pursuities on the back, on the street, its for one reason.

Some people put the pursuities on the back as a tough look.

I do agree, shit tyres on the back generally mean the driver intends to do a burnout, but this is a very generalised statement.
