Is there any truth to the rumour I heard that Starion's were a mispronunciation error in naming the car for export?

Supposed to be the Stallion.

i know an old guy on the southside of bris, when i went to his house i saw 3 starions an thought it was pretty cool, then as i looked down his driveway i saw about 7 or 8 more starions, most had exhausts an boost mods an he was making bodykits for them.

C-Red & DaiOni: Seriously I wouldn't be surprised there would be some kind of control or restriction coming onboard soon. 89 are the start of all the good cars...only more and more will come and Japan is more then happy to make some money out of their old cars.

I would love that starion but it is auto. If only it was manual.
