it would be registered as a kit car.. much like many other cars out there!

        no drama's!

wonder how much time and moolah went into this little project ?

keep reading the thread...its a 500SEC, so its a merc 5 litre OHC V8 (to my knowledge Merc hasnt had pushrods since the '60s)

$75,000euros were invested together with 2 years of daily work...

edo is right, my old man had a 79 450SLC (so 4.5L V8) and even that was OHC..

Simon, the problem would be that it was based on an existing chasis/vehicle and as such would have to pass a whole world of regs and inspections and etc.....if it was a kit to start with then meybe you could register it as such but this started as too much of a whole car I think...I might be wrong though and anyone who does know feel free to correct me

the bullit roadster is and insane engine but still a basic version of the mx5....this guy has choped and reworked almost every structural point from the floor pan up but left all the old firewall, chasis and floor pan...I think it would take an engineer a loooong time to certify those changes..thats all..I mean...like... has it still got it's baby seat mounting bolt?..an instant failure if not..you see what I mean?
But I can still appreciate the thing of beauty it is though, don't get me wrong..
