    I disagree!
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

good movie didnt really expect much of a story line, and didnt really get much of one either.. it's all just to string together the action scenes, which are top notch. that said, the plot isnt horrible - it's fairly decent, but it's not what you go to see. i won't spoil the movie by telling you the best bits, but there most definitely will be a T4.. and it pissed me off that the chick was so much more 'superior' to arnie.. there needs to be a fairer fight to make a better movie.
But that's the whole point Dan. Arnie is inferior but he still managed to waste a technically superior machine.

Besides it's an action movie. Anyone who goes to watch something like that and expects a decent plot should stay at home and watch re-runs of Murder She Wrote.

I liked it when the crane got sideways. Arnie seemed a bit too tough in this one, he just didn't die when he should have. The ending was a bit weak...T4 may be on the way.

how can arnie defeat a superior machine?
is it cause he has learned more in his cpu or wateva?

also who directed t3, and wat other movies had he done?

              Hey guys,

              Warning kind of spoilers...

Talking about the time paradox in the Term. movies, the script writers deserve to be shot for that last one...

              1) T1 was set in 1984, and Johnny boy wasn't born (ie he was only conceived in that movie)
              2) T2 was given an open timeline (pre 1997 which was when judgement day was supposed to happen) and Johnno was supposed to be 13, which we could accept... just...
              3) in T3 it is stated that John Conner's mother was diagnosed with cancer after the events in T2 and survived for 3 years, dying straight after the time that judgment day was supposed to happen, hence, she was diagnosed in 1994 which would make John 10 at the time she found out about the cancer which would mean that he would have been even younger than that at the time of T2...

Does anyone see a flaw in this logic...

On top of that, the writers came up with a character who is a vet, but can fly aeroplanes and fire machine guns... and are responsible for lines like, and I quote "Don't worry, we have enough C4 to blow up ten supercomputers!!!"... I mean like seriously, why would he say that... why not 12 supercomputers??? I actually felt dumber after some of the dialog scenes...

That said, I enjoyed the movie for what it was, an excuse for violence, special effects, Arnie and a really hot chick that kills people... when will hollywood learn that for movies like that to dispense with the dialog altogether and just have more fight scenes... my vote goes to the one in the bathroom between Arnie and TX...

              Cheers,

              Jae

The flaws are all in T2. The kid was supposed to be 13 in that, even though they'd said that T1 was in 1984 ... no date was set for T2, it could've been 1997 except for the Skynet deadline. They could've just said the kid was 11, only a kid under about 15 would know the difference.
I assumed Mummy died in 1997 'cos she was always going to die in 1997, although because of the war rather than cancer.

I actually felt dumber after some of the dialog scenes...
They ahve to dumb it down for the majority of the audience. Otherwise you get too many people not bothering because it's all to complicated (see comments on Matrix:Reloaded).

As for Arnie winning ... he lost. Twice.

I went to see it tonight and thought it was great.

In regards to dialogue....I think you guys analyze too much, I can't think of one movie in all history where every line was a good one....

As far as the ending goes, it had a good twist and does seriously lend itself to at least one more movie. And as much as I hate to say it, Arnie didn't 'win' vs the TX, he just stopped it.

I also thought the whole thing with Sarah Connor was a bit of a cop out....surely they could have thought of a better way for all that

had some random dude sit in the spot between me and another couple, he was buy himself, right at the back row and he was keep going into his bag and rattling his keys. needless to say i was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable with this possible axe murderer next to me :D

just a quick observation, the terminator can take the form of anyone it kills right, such as the kates fiance? how does it pretend to be Kate towards the end of the movie(when it runs up to her dad) when Kate is not dead??
