Zoom Encourages Speeding?

I've got to say straight up I'm getting a bit jack of all these holier than thou attitudes that are starting to pop up on PF. I think we should set up a new section of the forum for people who are white as the driven snow and leave all us heathen law breakers alone. If I wanted politically correct propaganda shoved down my throat there are plenty of other places to get it.
I dont see that the publishing of a photo in a magazine of a car doing 220kph is going to get me to do it on the way home from work. Perhaps Wheels, Motor and all the other mainstream mags that show cars exceeding the speed limit in Europe and the UK should be taken to task also?

first of all.. the "only a little bit over.. only a little bit dead" campaign is a drink driving campaign.. take a look.. in the little bit over board, there is a copper with a breatho..
as for speeding.. i go faster than the road rules depict almost on a regular basis... i wont speed in 50 or 60 zones, and the rest of the time only by 10 - 15 k's max.. if you dont drive like that over here
1) your in everyone elses way, and become a traffic hazard
2) you never get anywhere.

i also drive for 2 hours almost every weekend, mostly high way but through melbourne for part of the journey, and like someone said, the more problems are had with the slower limited roads. but its for the entire reason of traffice density.. cars space out more on highways, in city zones.. you can be a few centimetres from a car.. and another one a few centimetres from you.. traveling at 40.. thast asking for trouble.

i dont have problems with the car doing $2.20.. as long as no one else was put as risk. i;d have more of a problem with it being a silvia.. rb25 or not... its not a chassis meant for such high speeds.. if it was a GTR, supra, mercedes, you woulod be liek dayam! i think more of the shock comes from it being an s13.

i dont think it encourages us to speed though.. cause ive seen a pic of an s13 supposedly doing 220, im not gunna go out and beat it(i already matched it, on a public road too..and i drive a stock 1991 celica, so sue me) we've all had a go.. who;s not modded their car and gone for a "test drive" i do it because i choose to, not because a magazine encouraged me. and ive had it that fast once and once only.. and ill never have to do it again. i know i can now, and my curiosity has been satisfied.
