I think it's a Soarer. Have you thought about purchasing a Lancer?

              Damn right.

He needs to visit our mates at Tempe Tyres for some 20" rims.

And then dump it on its arse.

Lowered 1.5", and the negative camber is now "right". Well that's that problem sorted out.

So the guards are your new bump stops then?

lol.. yes they are.. till monday
the negative camber has been dialed in so it doesent rub on the rear guards until i get them rolled

                    If only I'd known earlier,

wouldn't have shelled out big $$ for those coilovers!

Ahhh so when lowering a car you should dial in as much neg camber as possible to avoid rubbing. If that fails take to the car with a baseball bat. Have I got it right? and in some cases you can pay someone else to use their baseball bat?

I'm sooooo getting those neon superlow coilovers tomorrow. Can't wait. Would a rolling pin suffice?

why not swap your soarer for a magna. and put some 17"s with superlows on it

have you considered what rolling your guards will do to your oberfloggens?

yes a rolling pin will suffice.

i'm testing a new one theory at the moment but I have a feeling the brighter the better

get over it guys.. the mass neg camber is only there for the next week or so until i get the guards rolled.. OTHERWISE id rip the sidewall to shreds on tyres worth 260ish each
can you all stop being such wankers?.. heh
when my guards are rolled.. im taking it back.. getting the camber fixed up and it shouldnt scrape.. and if u dont beleive it handles well.. come drive it :-P

Contrary to popular belief, lowering a car dramatically does not always affect handling negatively.

There's a lot to it including spring type/rate, shock type/rate, bushes used, factory suspension geometry, and wheel alignment settings.

That said.. if you're got stock shocks with lowered springs then you deserve all the tyre and guard damage you can cause in a weekend!
