    here it is

I save 300 dollars a week.. i had 4 saved for the conversion.. plus i have spent about 5 on rims and other shit that ive saved this year alone..
i only put the intercooler on credit card till next week when i have the money to pay for it from work..
I did however get a 5 grand loan which i pay a total of 26 bucks a week on.
Even after loan repayments and all my bills i still save 250-300 a week.
    10 grand includes alot
Remember the r154 box is worth 2000 alone

So my budget went like this
Soarer auto front cut + R154 manual box and all bits and front sump $4000
I sold the suspension off the cut and the cooler for 400 bucks
Strip Frontcut/convert motor to manual front sump $350
Labour and parts to fit motor including hoses/radiator $1250
    Linkages and fittings
    Wiring parts and labour $500
    Belts and fluids $300
Intercooler fit and plumb inc. fittings $550
    Bodgee exhaust up $90
    Custom Tail Shaft $400
    Heavy Duty Clutch $480
    Intercooler $550
Aircon parts needed and regas up to $300
    Custom Engine Brackets $280
Pedal Set and 5me mounts $70

Thats all I can remember at the moment

    Sub total $9120

Then theres stuff like towing and stuff
I spent a total of about 200 on that.
and the rolling shell was 750 bucks :-)

Like I said I was sure you had a plan!

Cooler looks nice! (and you could even shiny it up yourself - or pay me $40 and I will do it for you!) :p

actually its rather shiny now... still had some polish on it so he obviously shined it today.. after the pic.. i rubbed it all in and it looks decent enough
i dont really care about the looks anyway, wouldnt black be better for the heat?

as soon as the engine is in.. i get the exhaust done and get the respray (only 1.5g for full bare metal and all body work off gf's dad) im just gonna put 200 a week into the loan and pollish it off within the year
and the cooler will be off the credit card next week... i only put it on there as i needed it this week.. but also have to pay the work shop this week

Also with my budget.. some things will be cheaper.. like the tail shaft etc.. but some might be more expensive.. wont know until its finished i guess

OK cool! hehe just seemed like a fair chunk straightout. Surprisingly Subaru's seem to cost less to convert... (even to turbo AWD from FWD NA.... :D)

          /me rubs it in....

The ones that Mercury Motorsport sell (guy in my club got 30 or so from the suppliers) are knock off / clones of the Hybrid coolers.

Seriously who gives a fuck....air goes in...gets cooled....goes out the other side.

Who gives two squirts of goat piss if they are the same core or not as long as it does a good job, you're happy with it and got it for a good price!

Jag - your right it doesn't matter and your cooler is well......cool! :D

And the Hybrid coolers are probably a knock off of something else..... For the money you cant walk past them.

So..... was Trent bagging out his product, or merely just pointing out that infact they utilise a different core?
