For the record i passed through ACT rego with a fibreglass bonnet. Then again it was painted, and the little "Conditional Registration" tags might have had something to do with it.

C: You are worried about cutting a bonnet brace out, but would prefer a fibreglass bonnet instead- does that sound like an intelligent decision?

why does every car I see with a CF bonnet alos have a massive sound system with 2x 12 in subs if weight is so important.

Are you also saying that every pedestrian in Australia should be prepared to be chopped in half by a cf bonnet just so your street "race" car can be 8kgs lighter??

just when my car was registered the saftey inspector was ordited. along with my 27 defects they came up with they said theres nothing wrong with cutting a hole in the bonnet as long as you dont cut through the support brace. do you know if you can weld in alternative supports off to the sides, do they have to be neet or can you just use bars
