Merely a suggestion: There are a few organisations that proport to already to some of what you're wanting ADG to do. The National Motorists Association of Australia http://www.aussiemotorists.com/ is one that springs to mind. There are others, but their names or web addresses escape me right now.

OTOH, it's nice to see such enthusiasm for this kind of thing,

I had a look at some of the others. Notably NMAA does not appear to have been active in over 12 months. On top of that they seem a bit more anti-establishment which is not where I want to go (and I hope others feel the same).
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

              True, true.

The more I hear about ADG, the more I like it.

Jim, We could always register as a political party and then donations to PF would be tax deductible.

I too have nfi what I can do but I'm happy to help where I can.

I also agree with the idea that we should stay away from anti-establishment methods, being seen as too radical can alienate a lot of people.

                          The big question is:

                          How do we get,

Noticed, and
taken seriously
There are similar groups out there, http://www.aussiemotorists.com/ and http://www.roadsense.com.au/ for example, it's obvious that this sort of thing has been tried before, but, doesn't seem to have done the job.

I think you need to take a leaf from Scruby's book - make CONSTANT press releases (eg. "CLEARD FOR IMMEDIATE ISSUE") - get your ugly faces on Today Tonite etc.

People need to talk - there's no such thing as bad publicity.
