      Nice, thanks.
Thankfully looks to be more room in the back than an 86. Better for growing kids....

Given a WRX is $45k it would have to be a reasonable distance from that

Over $40k is ok for me, would prefer under, but for the car, I think I'm willing to pay that.
Over $50k is a deal breaker....
Guessing we'll be waiting a while before we know the final AU price though.

So Toyota have finally replaced the clock from 1988????

And have they updated the cruise control stalk from 1998, or does this not have cruise???

Don't know what the cruise stalk was like in '98 but our '17 Rav4 and '12 corolla both have the same stalk for cruise.
Maybe its on the wheel now? Articles talking about the standard yaris say its got radar/active cruise and they don't have the normal stalk.

Both the dashboard and the seats look really tall. How high is a Yaris these days - this looks halfway to SUV height?

That clock predates 1988. It's infamous!

We had a 2006 Lexus IS250. It had exactly the same clock as my 1985 Corolla. They updated it only the next model after.

Dials, wheel, pedals, controls and stick look OK but where is the fucking arm rest ????

I actually hope Toyota dont change their cruise control stalk, its so intuitive to use and nice to know you can go from a Lexus to a Corolla and its the same (probably)

After driving a lot of falcons and also my E61 wagon, I find the Tojo stalk system a complete head fuck in comparison to the steering wheel buttons of the Ford and BMW systems.

But Toyota won't listen to me as I will probably not be buying one these....
