    Nissan 400Z

    Looks like a 300Z and a 240 morphed, in a good way!

Power is by a ~300kW twin turbo V6, manual trans available.

Since you can't buy a Supra cos Toyota says "They're all sold out" this will do well.

So how final is that? It looks very pre-concept ComGen?
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

        It's the released final car.

Excellent ... or Most Excellent, depending on whether you lean more Monty Burns or Bill S. Preston Esq.

It's almost like they said "we benched the 240Z on the E-Type so buggrit, this one's on the F-Type".

I assume same sort of price levels as 370Z?
How new is it, it's not a Grampa's Axe 370Z is it?
I don't think there's anything Renault it could be (upsized A110 makes no sense)?

I hate the styling of the 240, 260, 350 and 370. The 300ZX hurt me many times trying to fix friends cars.

              But this I like.

If it's $70k drive away like the first batch of 370Z's then - IMHO - Toyota won't sell another Supra.

i don't think it's final though, the handful of articles i've read today have all said 'close to production prototype'

                  That really looks the goods.
Lots of minis & mokes including a G13b powered Sports Sedan, a couple of Swift Gtis, a Goggomobil, Porsche 928S, Polo Gti, BMW 540i, a WRX and a few others.

People will always perceive a Toyota as being longer-lasting & hence a safer purchase ... but this actually looks good unlike the Supra, important in a 2dr DESPITE what Lexus thinks.

Apparently it's based on an Infiniti/Z34 platform, priced around 70k plus on roads?

Production car is 3 years away, and with some massive emissions standards changes on the way in 2022 it could be very different when it arrives?

I think it also looks horribly bland?

                        I rate that big time.
.... because every driver experiences the destructive potential of the effortless surge of power available through the smallest of body movements.

GTR Proto wasn't too far from Production models, so fingers crossed... This New Z looks good, but I reckon it would look better from rear angles with colour coded roof/hatch

i rate the arse end and in particular the lines used on the side windows, particularly the rear. the headlights and front bumper i reckon could be better.
