R33 was the first production car to crack the 8-minute lap at the Nurburgring, and I think out of all of the Skylines they're the best looking
I want an LM limited but I'll never afford one now (and I don't think they're worth what they're selling for)

for now, i'll live vicariously through this guy One Man's Lonely Adventures In His R33 Skyline GT-R (r33gt-r.com)

        R34s have fugly rear ends.

R33 GTRs look the best I reckon, no idea why the hate.

I reckon they all look good. Even the 35.

Not just that, it was also 22 seconds faster than the R32, despite being "heavier" with "same power". It's a whole lot more car.

I do have some ragrets not cashing in my Silvias to buy a 33 8 years ago.

Yeah..but r32 is still the most entertaining drive, and better behind the wheel, even if slower. Driven both.

Lol at "electrical problems ". No problems with mine, 30 years on, same as Toyota. Never mind a full new loom is under 2k last time I checked.

Electrical problem is directly related to the number of scotch locks attached to the loom in Japan and age
the engine looms were worse and less protected
                  and fucked out 4wd sensors
                  and dead switches interior
heater and ac were also shitsville
                  and hicas was fucked
and 33 drive the same in non v spec

I must admit that seeing this video also put me off buying a GTR, how are their engine blocks this bad for cylinder thicknesses? sure it only becomes an issue at high HP though

Seeing more and more people using RD blocks now, do you just throw an RB head on it and go for it? Or more to it? If I remember right it's similar to RB30E just with smaller slug holes.

it really depends what you want i suppose. a stock block will see 350 - 400kw at the wheels no worries with the right supporting mods which is a low 11, high 10 second car.

if you wanna go full uleh spec at maatouks and need a 1000hp+ then go a billet block. 15k on a block alongside the rest of the 150k build wont even be noticed. RD blocks definitely help but again it depends on what you want.
