I would hold the ladder steady for him.

    Safety first.

If the camera was faulty wouldn't it be attended ASAP...over here all cameras are interconnected to a centralise control center.

As for the question NO, agree with GTSboy's answer.

Nope because speed cameras are arse.

The ammusing thing is the two fixed cameras that I saw on the way home today had been vandalised, covered in black paint, I was ammused. Of course these cameras are placed on long wide bits of road where there has never been an accident..

There's a speed camera on Maitland Rd sandgate. Interestingly enough there's a lot of white crosses and flowers to mark fatalities within 500m of each side of the camera. Obviously they work well as a safety device.
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

I doubt it, it wouldnt be heavy enough to trigger the sensores on the ground. I Voted no.

Speed cameras probably won't have the receptors to be able to pick up a radar signature from a object that small.

Now if you could launch a shopping trolley to 80km/h...

No. I do believe I would beep the horn and wave, though.

In answer to the question - NO! That's a big... no a HUGE NO!!! I'd probably do whatever I could to help out the 'vandal' (not really a vandal are they - they are doing a public service)..

In response to the shopping trolley thing - it would be quite funny to put a numberplate on a shopping trolley (not your own of course... ) and push it past over the speed limit....

I think the mobile speed cameras (like the ones we have here in Adelaide) would pick up a radio controlled car going past it. I might test that theory. My flatmate has a remote controlled car that will do over 80.. :D

                    That's a good one.

I plan on riding through my local speed camera (it's only a 60 area I think) on my pushbike, whilst giving it the bird. It's at the bottom of a hill so I should be able to muster up the speed, if not i'll get a tow in off a mates thumpster, double the finger.

How big of a picture does it take?

Might have to strum up a few other people to moon it on the side of the road.

It is been proven o/s the best way to F*CK up fix cameras is to spray clear 2pac over the glass opening as from the vantage point when they remove or inspect the camera, they cannot see the clear 2pac but enough to distorted images that camera would produce for how ever long until they realise that it been tampered with.

I'd definitely have to report it to my mates for a chuckle

a few weeks ago we went on a road trip to indy, on the way there i may have found a speed camera after a few beers and taken some photos of me getting it back.

we did some slogans up " finally im f*&*ng the speed camera, not if f%(#ng me!"

If I was driving past and saw someone tampering with said device, I would probably stop and help.

I'd noticed a few of them have CC cameras near them to record vandals... I'd hope that the vandals were smart enough to kill the CC unit before going about their business with the revenue-raising cameras
