Would you report someone vandalising a speed camera?

Hear about the technicality that photos taken by speed cameras must include a finger print/signature that composes of letters, numbers, and symbols?

They are quickly trying to close this loophole, so any photos taken prior to this you have a good chance of fighting it.

Wasn't there a jack the ripper site in uk, a bandit who had a website of all the things he did to the cameras?

Oh and those cameras which have anti-vandal cameras, why stops them from taking out the vandal camera first before the speed camera? :D

Or just wearing clothes they don't want to keep, and balaclavas?

3. Run to a safe place around the corner, strip top layer of clothes and balaclava, set fire to them, continue running to your "lair"

No no no, step 3 should be : Whilst stripping off clothes, bend over and do a big moon in the surveillance camera's direction, along with the usual obscene gestures...

Alternatively, in these litigation averse times, report vandalism that hasn't happened and see how long it takes them to attend to these cash cows.

Then see how long it takes to get a hospital bed next time you are sick.

My auntie got booked for doing 3ks over the limit, her first ever fine in 35 years of driving because of some gay speed camera.

This thread is awesome Agree with everyone above who've said they'd help/buy them a beer/hand over first born etc. Speed cameras (esp those used to book people for going bugger all over the limit on a wide empty straight piece of road) are worthy of any and all contempt that they receive. Let them burn in hell.

reminds me of a story a scottish friend told me from when he was still in Glasgow:

everyone's sitting in the pub waiting to watch the world cup final, when guy walks in wearing overalls and carrying a ladder. He climbs up starts taking down the TV, and when questioned by the customers just says that he's taking it away for repair.
The publican comes down and asks where the TV has gone, and is told that the guy came to take it away for repair, only the publican hadn't organised for it to BE repaired.....
the guy was just knocking it off.... now THATS ballsy.

Interesting.. I was driving past a speed camera the other day and noticed a guy in an r32 skyline servicing it... (no really) he had the laptop and cables attatched to it and stuff... Normally its a dood in a van. hmmmm
