wish I had one of those hoists when I had the wrx could have done my own gearbox removal and replacing lol . Friend of mine has one in his garage there a damn handy thing for that extra car space alone.

haha, i meant the Riv above the bimmer, hope it doesn't leak.. but you just said that the hoist has drip trays.. thats cool..

Haha, oh sorry - yeah, it leaks a little, but nothing major. Just what you'd expect a 1966 model piece of precision American engineering (:D) to drop. The hoist has the jack tray which we use as a drip tray too, and under the motor/gearbox of the Riv we just put a big piece of 3 ply under the car which we had lying around and happened to fit perfectly.
