the best thing is when you are 1a and the front two drivers are so scared of lane B you can nail it through ... unless car 1 is a teh gtr then you are just fucked.

In NSW, the rules are slightly different when turning left than turning right. Problem is,
I can't remember which way it goes.
If you're in the right lane turning right, you end-up in the rightmost lane.
If you're in the leftmost lane turning left, you have to end-up in the leftmost lane.
However, the next lane along has a rule where you don't have to end-up in the next lane when you go around the corner. I can't remember whether that's a left-turn or a right-turn though.Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

What I do is just fucking plant it and hope to god that there is nothing there when I round the corner. It shocks most people enough to work.Originally posted by klampykixxas an example, an elephant pushes over a tree to eat the fresh leaves at the top, but a human isnt allowed to build a machine that makes a car so he can drive around to places quicker?

as everyone says, 2 into C, and 1 into B (but wouldnt cause trouble if he went to A, not sure if its legal).
have almost exactly the same situation here, but 4 lanes to turn into instead of 3. i turn right there every morning. in the few years i have been doing that, i only once had to go from B to A because some idiot thought they'd just push me out of the lane (they were in 2 and i was 1)

car 1 gets to chose lane a or b
car 2 must chose lane c unless car 1 choses lane a, in which case he can chose c or b
this is a big problem turning onto corro drive to head towards the city. it has a tidal-flow traffic system so often the outside lane is a transit lane.. but often the guy on your outside will turn into the middle lane and force you into the transit lane. just gotta go with the flow really.EMS Cold Start - starts third time, every time.

Ha ha!Originally posted by CussCussturning onto silverwater road is like this, 2->c, 1-> b. No one usually argues with me as im usually in a truck :D
This one is tailor made for any minor street coming onto Silverwater Rd.
What I seen is that 2 -> C and 1 -> B as the most correct.
But...
Often 2 has to hook it too close to the median strip to get into C so you often move a bit into B so you don't bump your tyres.
You have to take into account the many trucks here because they will often take 1 and half lanes to fit.
1 -> A is legit if you want to turn into a side Maccas or the A lane is clear - I often do it to overtake people on the left.
But if it's really clear I do the rolin7(TM) techinque and that's full power 2nd gear off the M4 and sidewayz straddling B.

I thought that was NSW plated drivers! :pOriginally posted by DAZDA2 into C

But Saru, we all know that Canberrans 'Can't drive a soapy stick up a dogs arse' or 'Can't drive a shopping trolley across an empty carpark'. So it doesn't matter where or how they should be driving, they will drive all over the place without looking as if they OWN the road.
