I'm not going to repeat them all again, but I do concur with what you guys have said in regards to speeding.

If people were to pay attention to what they are doing on the road and if they received enough driver training to actually know how to control a motor vehicle, a lot less accidents would occur.

Unfortunately for the revenue raisers, they can't make 'inattention cameras' although that would be much more acceptable than speed cameras IMHO.

Some people are just naturally better drivers than others, but there are those (myself included) that will go out and involve themselves in further training to improve their skills on the road. Unfortunately because this isn't a legal requirement and most people only drive to get from A > B, they are less than satisfactorily equipped to properly control a vehicle on the road.

Stick it up who. Go and watch a court proceeding one day. Their boring as bat shit. There is no sticking it up anyone. Thats on TV, not reality. Police say their piece, you say yours. The magistrate decides who wins and who loses. Most police are gone before you even stand up to button up your $3 suit you thought would impress the magistrate. (TIP: A $3 suit is not needed in court. Neat, clean and ironed shirt with tie will suffice.) I have been to court somehere in the vacinity of 100 times. Matt Hayden's poor batting form worries me more than having to go to court. Do you think going to court to give 30 minutes evidence will piss them off any. Police get a full days pay whether they go to court or not. Most Police spend a few days a year in court giving evidence, someone trying to fight a traffic ticket with a few photo's wont scare them one bit at all. I have scrapped what was once a 6 year old girl off a road one christams day. I then went and told her parents that Grandma and Grandpa werent coming home with there little girl for christams. I had dinner later that night with my own daughter who happend to be 6. So, if your only reason to go to court is to stick it up 'em, have fun, the police want lose one little bit of sleep over your attempts to show them who is a big guy.

If you feel you have a legitimate excuse as to why you should not have been booked for crossing the unbroken line, then by all means take the matter to court. But if you walk in there and show the photo's the magistrate will simply convict and fine you and then send you on your way. I would suggest you start planning you defence around something other than those photo's.

Having read and participated in a fair bit of this thread, a few misconceptions needed to be put in place. The governements of the day make the laws. Speed limits come under that blanket. You can tell a copper till you are blue in the face that a particular speed zone is wrong and he may even agree with you. But until the Governements change the speed limits, they are simply going to continue to do his/her job. You are always going to get one or two idiots that forget to use that word judgement and make it hard for the rest. But like I have said before, you get idiots in every job. By and large, most coppers will treat you as you treat them. Shit, some of them are actually into modified and high performance cars.

Perhaps people need to vent their anger and hatred the right people, those who make the laws you disagree with.

You may have had a bad experience with Cops before and this could be why you have such a poor attitude towards them (this is just a guess BTW). I too have had experiences with dodgy Cops, but I don't go giving shite to all Cops because of it. They're not all bad and they've got a damn hard job to do with sweet FA in the way of rewards considering that they frequently put their lives on the line.

In summary, I can say this with a fair degree of certainty: if you keep behaving as you are, I'm sure a ban will be imposed. Not sure if you care or not, but if you do, then pull your head in!
