It's simple to do with coloured plastic and I like to set mood lighting.

Nice, I like it. Very spunky. The mid mounted cluster really suxs though.

Once you get your mind around the instrument cluster being in the centre, it is a much more practical and ergonomic design. Of course there will always be old die hards but you get that with any change.

the digital dash is an abomination aswell, there isnt even a temperature guage and the fuel gauge is real accurate - 6 graduations ..... so its full, 5/6, 2/3, 1/2, 1/3 1/6 and who knows..... how much is left then after

To be honest the Daewoo Matiz shits on all these pos cars- it has the most incredible space/ overall size ratio of ANY car EVER imo- and I am 6 foot 4 and made of high tensile steel. Note to daewoo- this does NOT make us mates....

All in all its a passenger car, not a performance car so what do you expect or want. It tells you whether its cold/warm/hot, your average person wouldnt care if it was 92.75degress or 92.83degrees.

As for the fuel guage, even the best are not linear/accurate. 6 gradations is plenty to let you know if you need fuel or not.

I think people need to reassess what they are comparing this car to. and Daewoo making a better car then anyone but Hyundai is a big call IMHO.

Interior = tops. Front end = good. Rear = THE UGLIEST THING EVAH!

Whoever started the trend of this sort of styling in the rear of a car (read. every little hatch coming out these days and in some cases wagons and 4wds) should be banned from design for life.

And ive said it before and ill say it again, what is with the big ass front headlights on cars these days? These front end lights add up to 1/3rd the bonnet area.
