On one hand we have blind vehicle designers creating utter crap like the new sangyoong turd burger in the other thread......and then there are designers who totally and utterly hit the nail on the head like Subaru.

What a cooooool family car! Just think 30 years ago the HQ holden Premier was the car to have if you had a family, and now we live in a day and age where the new STI Forester is one to have!

I look forward to the next 30 years with pleasure.

    Subaru you have my vote!

I dont want to start a shit throwing contest but I dissagree with the pure speculation comment [unless you are refering to whether it would take sales from other models], the people I have spoken to are those who make the decisions whether the product comes to Aus or not. I will be catching up with them again soon and raise the issue and find out some definitive reasons. But last time the comment I got was "over my dead body".

And as for job prospects, he is doing ok.

          NICCEEEEE... is that registrable?

Doesn't seem to have a STi sticker on the fog light overs.

There was one of those in Canberra over the rally weekend just recently.

Very nice. I'd go one over the XT, as it would become a drivers car that you could use with your family on weekends. A family hack that actually went with a bit of ground clearance.

I now have to use a bloody ladder to polish or clean the roof of our current XT.

And Subaru Australia. Fit everything that is standard to an XT in other countries instead of leaving them off for local delivery.

I am serioulsy considering the Turbo Outlander instead of the next XT due to this.

Looks like Singapore to me.... the car on Ebay seems to be missing the STi sticker on the fog light covers.

No STI label on the cooler either.
                  Love the rims though....VERY nice.

No, it just suggest to me that it's been in some sort of front ender.
