      5th gear has less of the glitz and polish of top gear - but Tiff, Plato and VBH are far superior drivers to the Top Gear blokes.

              Each has their merits. I'm not a fan of the strong 'infotainment' bent of Top Gear. It almost becomes the Jeremy Clarkson show.

              5th Gear do a lot of very very boring topics however... the spiel on diesel, the hard-on they have for crash tests and I pity Tom Ford because he keeps testing the boring cars... oh an for being Tom Ford.

              5th Gear do like to give away cars though :D

                I just think a show shouldn't be based on giving away things. It makes it look cheap and nasty though I prefer the less glitz and glamour of 5th Gear. Top gear as Tony said has become the JC show.

                But yes, the dribble about diesel, GPS speed camera thing.. well, it's just that guy is just so wrong. Maybe it's his tone that he presents it.

                  Don't be too hard on 5th Gear/Top Gear... foremost it is suppose to be entertainment. The episodes where JC pits himself and an exotic car against his co-hosts and other forms of transport are very entertaining and well shot.

                  Tiff is a great driver... he can drift an m3 better than those blokes in dedictaed drift cars - lol.
