    i'd prefer it not to be an sti forester.

    even the standard wrx is a rough bugger... and noisy. i think the tyres are mostly to blame.

    from what i've heard the xt is pretty soft. it just sits too high to look good.

      please spill the beans.

      I have been informed by someone on the wrx forums (who has inside information) that indeed this coming 2006 model (august/september 2005) will be highly updated version of the wrx.......
      2.5l keeps being mentioned but there are debates left right and centre over whether it will be or not!

      As for the WRP10 nearly everybody who has had a crack at it and knows wrx's says it is worth the buy if you're just wanting to keep the warranty.....
      However- you could buy a stock wrx and modify the suspension and bolt-ons for power and have a way better car (IMO)
      or
      Spend the extra 7000 I think it is for an STI which will be well worth the extra investment in the long run (less broken gearbox worries)!
      Nothing to see here, move along...

        WR = world rally
        P = pirelli
        10 = number of years they been together in WRC.

        well i think thats how it goes.

        its just another limited edition WRX, at the end of the day when you go to trade it in on something other than a suburu you wont get any more money cause no one knows what it is.

          Most of the extra cost of the WRP-10 is in the rims. And all the other stuff that was done to them could be done just as well and far cheaper with aftermarket parts.

          How much is it worth to keep the factory warranty?
