Why do you all you guys carry on with this stereotype of all night bum sex in prison ?

I have a mate doing time in Qld, and have asked him about it, and the 12 months he has been there, he has never seen or heard anything about it.

Because its funny. what we mention about lamington jabbers & prison, is all in jest. None of us here are talking from experience, but from movies etc which are displayed in the public eye (american history x being one of them).

A mate of mine bougt a car off a guy who owns a load of 1-800 sex lines...apparently the dudes house and car collection were very impressive.

DCR- absolutely. The poor bastard who bought my rebirthed car did a revs check, and had an nrma inspection. Doesn't help if the rebirth has been done by pros. My car had a die penetrant done on the engine number and you could see the original numbers clearly under the extremely factory looking rebirthed numbers.

If not for that I never would have got it back. The radiator support panel had been cut and shut by a genius- no one here could tell- I promise, without removing the radiator and looking from underneath. They covered a pretty prominent pinstripe and put numberplate covers on it. I don't know if I would have recognised it the day after.

Never did hear what happened to them. The cops did a top job and cracked a huge case. Not really sure if the courts were much help to them though, Last I heard a long time ago was that they were on remand and doing appeals.. That was years ago though.

friends of the family had their nissan patrol stolen

3 or 4 yrs later the cops delivered a ford maverick back to them that had been stolen, rebirthed and sold once, attempted to be resold and found to be stolen....

the insurance company i believe gave them the option to buy it back, it was water under the bridge so they declined

But the drug dealing I dont really care for much each way. A few of you have put the dealers with the theif scum, because to fund drug addictions people become theives .. But its the same with anything, gambling, sex, whatever!

Its the line that is crossed when someone profits from someone elses hard work, and makes them miserable enough to lose faith in humanity that I will never forgive.

'Drugs' are simply on the other side of an artificial line drawn by the government, would you consider someone that steals to fund alcohol/smokes/pain killers any differently?

So this is where the line becomes blurry... stealing to support a habit that supports someones car/boat/whatever fantasy.

It's sad because that actually happens frequently.
