There's a yellow Mk1 Escort (not the same, I know) with an SR20DE going around Perth that ran a 14.3 -- with all the boy racers around a non-turbo SR20 would be pretty cheap I reckon

Also according to that spannerfodder.com link Volvo 4 piston calipers are an easy fit, but you'll need 14" wheels to clear them. Simmons B45's and some flared arches get my vote!!
