    Putha - re-read the post champ. I think you'll find he is saying that 79K in Japland is the equivalent of 300K here.

        If that GTO had done 300,000km in japan then it would be atleast 40 years old!!

        The GTO has overheating problems especially when you add a FMIC, so be vary. Hope you have a mechanic that is a good friend as it take double if not tripple the time to do any work on the engine than any other car
        At least if he learns to do most of the work himself, working on any other car will be a breeze!

          lets not scare him jus yet he hasn't even had the car yet.. I'm sure it'll be fine mate.. enjoy your GTO, awesome car especially as a first car.

            if i have any problems i will post em on here for help i got my rear wing from carmate.com.au have any of u used this dealer if so how did it go coz its been 2 weeks and i havent got it yet

              most of japan is not city.. a very large portion of it is mountainous and then theres the farmland. It only seems like Japans one big city if you only stay in the city.

                So why exactly would 79k be equivalent to 4 times the milage in aus??

                If that was the case no one would have ever bought an import coz most come here with around 79km's or more
