Meets/club days/shows/anything in Central Japan

Calling anyone who is living, has lived, or has some knowledge about anything car related in the central Japan area.

I know there must be some interesting shows around, but I have a hard time getting any info. Did a search here and google with little success. I'd love to see pretty much anything.

I could get anywhere as west as about Kyoto and as east as about Nagano.

I've been living here a year now and I've seen some cars that look fast but haven't seen any go fast. Except a Brabus of some description that went past us on the expressway going fiendishly fast.

Please help me.

hah bit of a distance between tochigi and kyoto.

I have a mate living on the edge of kyoto, I could ask him whats going down. Otherwise Troy might be able to give you a heads up, he was in Osaka for a few years.

Osaka Auto Salon should be on at the start of next year I assume? Went to the one in Tokyo twice, and it was rad!!

Other thing is to get friendly with some people who run race shops. I was living way up north in Aomori, got friendly with a bloke running his own racing/modification store, and he took me to circuit and track days in Sendai, took me out with his mates to go speeding in the middle of the night through apple orchards in a fully blown rally Evo, and he gave me heaps of go fast bits he didnt want anymore.

Were still good mates now and chat heaps on MSN even though he is based in Taiwan and Im back in Perth. He keeps giving me tons of advice on my own modding too!! I think thats the best bet - hell, he even invited me to his end of year party pissup with his mates and we ended up in a titty bar at the end of the night! Cant get much better than that!
