The 037 was loosely based on the Monte Carlo. How bad can they be. I reckon one would be an interesting go fast project. Intergrale motor or even the old Volumex motor. The factory actually built some Monte Volumex's at one point.
Or you could have one of the Group 5 cars with a Ferrari motor.

The red Fulvia at Macleans bridge belongs to a mate of Guido's. It is a good one for sure.

I have seen a monte on ebay australia recently, Was $10K.
There is a kit to turn one into an 037 and there is a website showing how to do it...best google for it I don't have time.
Nice enough car if you get a rust free one.
