Yeah phreeky had one on here, put some huge amount of km's on it, never did an oil change and just added water on a regular basis as it eventually had a blown headgasket.

Evilchief bought it for next to nothing, stripped it and ran a 15.4 It was pretty solid for an ea.

ahh first car love...

i got the car when it had 200,000kms on it, did around another 100,000 on it or so (first 30,000 on it fine but then the rest is estimated as the odometer died). never gave it an oil/filter changed, never checked gearbox/diff oil levels etc. all i did was fix a small power steering leak, a rocker cover gasket (which held up ok for about 50,000km before leaking again) and topped up the coolant. silght adjustment to the clutch cable too.

for 3 years of hard thrashing it copped it was fairly reliable. once the headgasket went it was a pita - just kept filling the coolant as it was leaking out the side of the block.

i want another one mine was a manual though, an auto would probably suck
