For testing methylated spirits is chemically the same (I think that is correct).

Any speedway guy will have 50 drums of it lying around that has absorbed moisture and he wants to get rid of. Obviously when you are going to add it to water a bit of moisture isn't a problem :D

Set your WI to come on at abput 7-8psi.
Boost isn't really hot until then.

That is such a scientifically vague post it's hard to take it as advice.

I really think that bernie-rx7's water injection is the best system I have seen lately (for the $). load based injection has got to be important in a forced induction application.

The other consideration here is that Cal's system is only make 4psi at 4,000 rpm....out of interest, how many revs are you pulling before you hit 7psi boost Cal?

hang on, isn't it a PD blower? Shouldn't it be full boost from 1500-2000 onwards?

For those how have been following the results from the Harrop supercharged LS1 we have been playing with ....... even more good news.

The customer just took the ute to a Hub dyno.....it was very difficult to get tracion on the chassis dyno. Also, they were able to get some more data which is great news.

                    1. The car made 350kw at rear wheels with 650nm of torque! That's up by 17kw from the rolling road.

                    2. Inlet temps were measured at no higher than 48 degrees - prior to WI temps were consistantly 78 degrees...that's a 30 degree drop!

My customer told me that the guy who dyno'd the car was really sceptical...... and could not believe his eyes when they did the power run......They also discovered that the ute is running too rich, so the customer is heading back to the original tuner to have the AFR's checked.... and hopefully leaned out.... which should produce even more power....... Go you good thing!

Yeah get it, I give WI thumbs up. If you get it, make sure you get a decent kit with pump solenoids etc from http://www.full-throttle.com or http://www.coolingperformance.com
Both the Snow Performance and Coolingmist kits are real good. I personally use the Coolingmist system and love it.

My mate uses a snow performance kit on his car. We have all gone the way of WI now. We use both 'snow Performance' and 'Coolingmist'
