Hope you are going to the Ring at the same time. They are 2hrs apart.

Zac and Cplus, email your current address again and I will send them this week.
Hamish, glad you liked the porting article. I agree that some magazines don't 'waste space' (their view) in reporting what doesn't work, but sometimes it is just as infomative as what does work. I also agree that all flow up to .25/30 in going to be influenced by seats and valve pocket, plus some post valve flow.
Will be doing a bit of this in the next issue I hope.

I think it's very informative to publish what doesn't work, points out that you can actually go backwards!

Got mine last night- probably spent a good solid 90 minutes reading it and I still haven't finished!... Definately another step up from Issue 2, but proofing needs lots more work- both Text, captions for piccies, and bylines.

The Our Cars bit had me confused for a while- i knew Forg had written the LH page of the spread, but there was nothing to tell me that your page was written by you, apart from the subject matter change!

I did miss reading a funny story from Secoh though... that has to become a regular!

            Cheers

lots more work? well let me know more and I will look at all of it.
I thought I was getting close to the mark, though I acknowledge that some more errors crept in at the last minute, esp the our cars bit. It is more time management issues as some material only comes in days before printing...my problem I know.
Funny story a regular...too much to ask I think, besides we need Secoh to continue the how-to's and show his skills so we can all learn.

No worries, I finished my assignment sdo can pick up where I left off. I will have another tech article and another humourous story for the next issue.

That kingswood openwheeler was a great read! What a great idea, even if the cost of the chassis and glasswork is out of proportion to the low cost theme.

more importantly it's 30min from the airport we fly into.

not sure if we should do the 'ring or not though - it sounds dangerous.

Problem with the funny articles is finding ones that can be printed without me incriminating myself!

do you want to use a pseudonym?
The morrie is a good bit of work. Consider that the builder built it in his domestic 1.5 car garage and you get an idea of what a dedicated amature can achieve,
Re Metabo price....really depends on who you buy it from, but I think around $300 or so...but give Metabo a call on their free number and ask them. I do have a spare to give away to subscribers as I did with the flexishaft, but that is at the end of the year.

if it involves Paul newman dressing in anyway, you won't be able to hide behind an alter ego......
