its auto, and realistically priced.

Price to get the car to sydney and a blue slip if required. Driving it down its 1400-1600kms from Mount Isa to Darwin ill have to check the sign for the distance they claim, but it can be done in a days drive yes its a full days drive. I Drove from wollongong 1 hr south of sydney to Mount Isa is with 2 over night stops, the distance was close to 3000kms. lets say its a 4000km trip at the shortest, and it costs $10 per 100KMs, thats $400 in fuel alone, i bet it cost's more, not to mention hotels and wear on the car. And thats a 1 way price, add a ticket to darwin
and im sure it would be cheaper then transportation

to get a car from darwin to the eastern states is ~ $600.

.. and after that its still cheaper than any local XT I would imagine.

The insurance thing, kills it though.

27,700kms on mine in ~10 months. Has been a great car and handled mosty that I could throw at it. Has seen a bit of soft offroading with no major issues.
