For those who don't know Tony's car it's an 808 Mazda coupe with a turbo BP1800 engine - and with 220rwkw it farking rips... Kind of destroys a certain arguement that rotaries have it all to easy and an unfair advantage when you see these turbo piston S.A cars...

takai mate never say never. when i bought my car i figured that around malalla the very best time possable when i'd sorted everything and it was at it's best would be mabye 1.17 dead. but i still haven't finished yet

adam didn't use anywhere near the fuel because he was not going flat stick. if he had to go flat mabye he would have had less in the tank at the end.
i still had 20l plus in mine at the end but no punch = less fuel used.

Shame you can't run one of those piston engines in an RX-7 then Tony, that'd be hard to beat anywhere !! 220rwkw is huge - i'd like to think my engine is among the healthier "privateer" rotors out there and it's around the 235 to 240rwhp mark with the current tune. (in hand-grenade mode we could probably get 255, maybe 260)
BTW - Was good to see the Nationals went along way calming the interstate rivalry that flared up at the Oran and Mallala rounds leading up to the Nationals... You and the boys are welcome here anytime, Flemo told us we have to be nicer in future !!
