hmm natsoft sucks for results.

unfortunatly my car blew a head gasket after qualifying and raced the next two races boiling it's nuts off. then sat night replaced it with another head but after doing an all nighter to get it going for sunday it was knackered(2 bent rods,rings stuffed,ect). went from 220 rwkw to 165rwkw. and struggled to keep any pace in the final.

I figured you had run into problems, seems like you would have been the only one that could have kept up with Adam and Scotty, you blokes have got Mallala well and truly sussed...

Apparently Baskerville is a bit like Mallala so you guys should go alright there too...

I think the Nationals goes to Qld in '07 and NSW in '08 - i hope Oran Park is still there for the '08 Nationals, that'd be a fitting way for us to say goodbye to the place but sadly i think it'll be gone before then...

For those who don't know Tony's car it's an 808 Mazda coupe with a turbo BP1800 engine - and with 220rwkw it farking rips... Kind of destroys a certain arguement that rotaries have it all to easy and an unfair advantage when you see these turbo piston S.A cars...

Actually, as Mark said earlier there could be a 3 round "National Series" from '07 so who knows Fishy ??

takai mate never say never. when i bought my car i figured that around malalla the very best time possable when i'd sorted everything and it was at it's best would be mabye 1.17 dead. but i still haven't finished yet .
still plenty to do yet.
adam didn't use anywhere near the fuel because he was not going flat stick. if he had to go flat mabye he would have had less in the tank at the end.
i still had 20l plus in mine at the end but no punch = less fuel used.

yes and no paul. we can get our turbos to make plenty of punch but those pesky rx7's teach us a lesson through the corners. turbo cars are good for some tracks(mallala) but shit for others where you have to go around corners(oran park)

Shame you can't run one of those piston engines in an RX-7 then Tony, that'd be hard to beat anywhere !! 220rwkw is huge - i'd like to think my engine is among the healthier "privateer" rotors out there and it's around the 235 to 240rwhp mark with the current tune. (in hand-grenade mode we could probably get 255, maybe 260)

BTW - Was good to see the Nationals went along way calming the interstate rivalry that flared up at the Oran and Mallala rounds leading up to the Nationals... You and the boys are welcome here anytime, Flemo told us we have to be nicer in future !!

most of us are lovers not fighters(it could be because we can't afford to fix bent cars).
