Go on FB, show pics of skinny wheels

As a matter of interest, what times do they do around QR, Sprint or Clubman?

They do not run the Sprint at all but IIRC the front running RX7's do low 59's around the Clubman... The Clubman is what, 2-3 seconds slower than the sprint...

In Tassie the largest growth area of circuit racing is seen in production car based Group Racing. Four categories at split on time windows alone.

              The only rules are:
1 - You must run treaded tyres
2 - There are no rules!

No whinging about eligability or weights... just run what you bring.

The concept is now be talked about in SA and Victoria I hear.

I like the idea of that! Whoever did that page needs to get more learned in cars... Alfa Romeo 124 sport, Datsun 1200...

What the Yanks seem to do in SCCA is to group compatible makes and models of cars together. So you could have late model and old, big and small, all mixed in a particular group, their only commonality being their lap time potential.

The mix is reviewed regularly depending on race results. Sounds good to me, none of this buggarising around trying to slow down some cars so others will have a chance

Effing rotors, should have bricks in the engine bay to make up the weight of a proper engine

Yeh, 2-3 seconds would be about the diff. There is that road registered silver turbo RX7 that does sub 59's(?) on the Sprint, a Silvia or two similarly, nothing much else. On the Clubman then my old heavy road registered POS would be ~4secs slower than a stripped rotor. Can live with that
