If you are taking the Golf to the panel beaters anyway... why not just get it smoothed over and dont put the badges back on?
Would stop it happening in future?

It's as intelligent as graffiti. If you're going to commit some crime, at least make some money out of it! Stupid kids.

it just comes down to the same thing - dont fuck with another mans motor car! (thanks JT for letting the world know) pity they dont take any notice.

one of the guys on fordforums is a pretty big guy, and owns a TS50...anyway, he was walking back to his car at the supermarket and saw a couple of guys crouching near his car, when he got closer he saw they had a screwdriver and were trying to prise the badge off the guard.

he grabbed one of them before they knew what was happening and punched him in the guts, the other one stood up and tried to stab him with the screwdriver, so he kicked him in the skrote (i think he has like size 14 feet or something, he is a big man) the guy he punched kinda stumbled/ran away, so he threw the second one to the ground and sat on him until the cops rocked up

cops took the would be thief away, he didnt get into trouble at all

        for once justice is served

Another pet hate of mine is when these little cnuts are to retarded to remove your whole headunit, so they nick the face off it instead. What's the use of the fcuking face to them? Leaves me with a useless headunit and a big bill to replace it. Little fcuks.

Lets just say that thieves in general suck arse and need to be punished according to their crimes..

Rollin: What a wanker for trying to stab the car owner with a screwdriver. I think I remember that guy (the Big dude - TS50 owner - from when I was on fordforums ages ago) and it serves the little cnut right! :D
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

There's no way the missus would consider that - the car is in immaculate condition and looks brand new (it's a 1996 with less than 75,000km's) and she keeps it as genuine as possible. Even I have to clean my shoes off before stepping in it in case I get the carpet dusty

It just the hassle of going to the panel beaters to fix the scrathes, replacing badges etc - for what? Some dumb f**k who now proudly holds a couple of plasticy VW badges.

Is it illegal to glue a razor blade behind badges?
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

                              They're doing you a favour.

Almost any car will look cleaner, sleeker and just plain better with all badging removed.

I see badges as being poser material pretty much "Im so tough look what I've got everyone"....

No they are not doing me any favours so if you want to debadge using the local high school kids, then you give them a call but tell them to not fuck with anybody else's car. We can do it ourselves if we feel the need on our own sweet time.
