    Well has he played with the shift settings in the setup menus in I-Drive?????

    If not it would be trying before he starts making a big scene at the dealership..

      It could just be a "welcome to the world of SMG gearboxes". They are known for being a bit different to drive and some people never like them. I've read that sometimes simply putting them on the fastest shift possible (S7?) can be better

      Has he driven another M5 that is different/better?

        if the dude can afford an m5 and hes too stupid to know how to deal with a candy ass problem like this then its his daddys money and he diserves to be dicked

          maybe it's the first time he's driven it without a fucked gearbox and it's actually working now.
          Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

                            Hahaha. I don't think so. The first time, it was stranded. Wouldn't even pick a gear at all. This time its not so severe.
