Jap sounds good to me, but I can't think of anything. R34 GTR might be abit too sporty.

A friend has a C180 Kompressor coupe ..... bit under the price range, but I'm sure the big brother would be a bit more suitable. Nice bit of kit that car.

If you drive the damn thing, it'll break some expensive irreplacable part, devalue until it's worth the same as a maccas wrapper.

If you aren't going to be able to drive it, then what do you do with it? Anything with a sort of flattish surface in my garage that doesn't reguarly move will find itself covered in coffee cups or beer bottles.

IMO the Kompressor motors sound even worse than an SR20 with an Apex N1 exhaust.

Seriously they do a wonderful diesel impersonation.

The plus side is that they are remarkably frugul and have masses of low down torque.

Minus side is that they have nothing up top and are completely breathless and have all the character of a Massey Ferguson.

If you must have a cheap C - go the C350.
