for something a little different you could go for an M.G. ZT or an Elise, but that might be a bit too small, They sure have the stank though. Otherwise there are some pretty nice Libertys and there is the Nissan 350 roadster or BMW Z4.

Wish i was picking one of these cars for myself!
Ahh... Negative, I am a meat popsticle.

Dude, MG went broke & flogged everything at Auction about 6 months ago...I think ZTs were free with your entry to the auction.

Steve, Merc...your mum might like an SLK350 (I didnt, it had the weird 911esq front end bobbing thing going on), or a CLK of some description.
You dont care anyway...youre off to canada soon, guess you'll be driving a snowboard in winter & an MTB in summer.

Personally, I'd be going an '06 Audi A6 Quattro 3 litre turbo diesel...

          Power 165kW @ 4000rpm
          Torque 450Nm @ 1400rpm
          Fuel Consumption 6.3L/100km

Audi looks nice. We use a million litres of diesel a year - why not some more?

Edo: Correct, I'm more likely riding in an ambulance than in a Merc. Still I gotta have my say for the days at Mt Cotton

The Audi would be perfect... torque monster and it'd be a beautiful sight seeing a quattro being drifted like it were at the Nürburgring :D

SLK55 -> You know you can talk your mum into a V8. Looks cool and sounds like an orgasm on wheels.

or for taking to Mt Cotton.
Boxster S -> Because there is nothing better sub 1,000,000 or whatever a mac F1 is going for lately.

/edit: Ohh and I'm still jealous about Canada.

Boxster S - definately consider. - Im not a huge fan of the look, but maybe a crossfire?

Before I read your post I was thinking BMW 330 straight up! dont sell it... or give it to me for a "special price"

What, and bog up the rear doors?
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.
