Sean, I'd take any S0* or Type C

Spammy, I agree the Liberty B4 looks good without going over the top too much.

Hamish, it's over the top because it's a Rally Car...well makers cashing in on the looks, which every man or boy dreams of driving.

I can't say the uninspired interior/dashboard blows my skirt up.

I have to admit the new STi isn't that attractive but goes like the clappers.
            Can you be so sure?

Yeah, I've got 8 tyres packaged up into the lease, but I don't think 12 tyres (inc the RE070's that are already on them) will be enough for 3years/75,000 Ks.

Got a quote from my local lebbo tyre outlet and they want $330.00 each! ouch. This guy is usually very cheap so I shudder to think what Bob Jane etc want for them?

Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

That caught my eye too, however, I was wondering in what way can a bootlid strut be modified for better performance?

Is that what it is? What else runs through the top of the boot?

I really don't understand why people are so negative towards the look of the front end. The more rectangular 'look' of the front seems reminiscent of the 2000 model which most people seemed to love?

However that rear spoiler seems to cater specifically for those that would stick a GT-Wing on anything

Looking at MZ21's avatar ... I think it's only the grille. The lights work, and work damned well, on a number of European cars; the crease in the bonnet would be fine if it ended somewhere else at the front, and the bumper-line & below would be fine too. It's just that their attempt at copying Alfa Romeo has failed dismally ... I was going to say Audi, but with those lights it's just become painfully obvious to me that they liked the look of the current 147 & 156 front-ends.

I assumed it was connected to strut-tops at the rear, beside the boot?

It's gotta be just a rear tower brace, but with a damper (for some absurd reason).

                          The gearbox will handle it.

As for plastics, back in 2001, the interior was excellent quality and stylish. The quality hasn't changed, but it is getting drab.

you can't even compare the s204 ti the Oz deliverd car.

I'm really surprised you say that. I have a BA Futura and had an 05 WRX and while the WRX interior is very boring, it seemed astoundingly well made compared to the Futura. The BA has gaps everywhere, uneven joins, sharp corners hanging out instead of flush with the body and the plastic rarely sits still. You can prod your index finger in various spots on the interior and watch them move in the BA, but no such problem in Subarus - tight as.
