wouldn't you be up against a fair number of hot peugeot's, renault's and the like??

i'm sure it sounds funny to some (including me) but lately it seems the front wheel drive performance scene is growing with interest. must be the relative lack of competition & the challenges of getting traction that draws people in prehaps.

It's the lack of RWD cars that don't either weigh 1800kg or cost $60k new.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

was thinking more about older cars..... but yeah you'd be hard-pressed finding a small RWD car under 50K these days. MX5 is the only car that comes to mind so far.

                  i s'pose for me its the difference between owning a near-stock cordia & a 10sec cordia.

I like it, it rocks for a Barina. I wouldn't own it though, but you have to admire the guys dedication even if it means questioning his sexuality.

Looks like all he did was replace the parts that broke. With parts of lesser or equal value to the factory genuine parts.

Shunty can back me up on this, we saw an mh barina with miss matched paint etc, fully spinning seconds and chirping thirds

If I hadnt seen it do it on 2 seperate days I would have assumed I was seeing things...

I drive my gf's 05 Barina about every second day, not a bad car IMHO but wouldn't do anything to it, it's supposed to be the sensible crap carrying and economical (and quiet) car. Doing anything to it would just detract from it's purpose. However, I don't think that car is that silly, it's certainly not as silly as a car like R Baby (or it's owner).
