Could be a first time a larger car is offered with hybrid technology down here.. <edit> maybe not.. good old backward australia
However, due to the manufacturing complexities of the hybrid system, it will initially not be offered in the locally-manufactured Camrys we get here.
However, Toyota Australia has not ruled out the chance of a hybrid version of the Camry arriving in local dealerships in the longer term.
