Couple of points though, if Ford hadn't called it the drif6, nor made any mention of the fact they were building a car for the equivalent of automotive-synchronised-swimming, I'll bet you would've been a lot slower to bag it out.
Fact is if it had been a track spec falcon that was exactly the same in looks and concept, it would have rated a lot better on here.

From what i hear Ford is distancing itself from it until the car is proven popular or otherwise.
Then they'll jump on the bandwagon hehe.
I don't mind the car myself, from the photos i've seen it's pretty stripped out.
Prolly weighs a feathery 1500kg now hehe.If looks could kill you'd have eyes like cyanide...

There's not much info on it really, but there's a coupla things that suggest that it was put together by ppl who were more into circuit racing than drifting.Originally posted by ChadHokay: the australians are like WTF mate!!! But why won't this work as a drifter, I don't know how(and don't want to) put my handbrake on halfway down the straihgt, but won't this work as a drifter? If so, why not?
For drifting, with the power-up mods it would generate tons of heat, and of course drifters go sideways at big revs and there isn't much airflow thru the radiator...so if it was serious it would have oil coolers, a larger radiator, etc etc. Also the locker is not a popular mod for drifters, since it tends to be understeery when you don't want it to be, and presumably there would be a mod so that the power steering pump doesn't crap itself (dunno if they still do that tho, they certainly used to).
So it's not to say it wouldn't work, but it doesn't seem like it was put together by a drifter...Japanese Nostalgic Car - Dedicated to classic japanese cars
