My mate has an HR31 with an RB25/30, GT35R, 420hp at the wheels if you're keenI went looking for another 31 about a month ago.. jeesus some owner must think they are god gift to the model. Managed to shut most of them down with the mention that I used to have a rb25 powered one.
Don't get me started on the r31club, no offence to any members/mods who also use this forum, but it seems like every car for sale on that forum will be have someone stating "if this cars still for sale in 3 months, I'll defeintely buy it". then you get the dreamers demanding 10k for stock cars with dodgy paint/panels/bits missing.... And as to why the RB20 is their god, f@cks me :D

I could start with a particular MX-5 orientated forum, where 90% of WTB or Tech queries, get answered with "Click on the banner at the top of the page lad, they are our forum sponsors, so they can help".
So you reply "Thanks for that, anyone know any else I could get it/work it out?"
Someone else "Have your tried contacting our sponsor? I have done it, can't help you with info, but if you contact Joe Bloggs there, he will help".
RIGHT.
The RSLiberty owners club would have to be one of the most friendliest, and down to earth group I have met, in my 20 odd different car ownership. We started the club with 3 other people, and its sure grown into a hell of a worldwide club, and the majority are friendly and happy to help.
I think its also dependent on the car, as to what sort of people they draw, I mean you don't buy an RS Liberty if you want to be a standout hero/chief etc, its so much more a capable, yet understated package, and draws likewise people.
Compare the WRX forums to the RSLiberty forums, and check the difference..
Then there is nissansilvia forums, where spelling and grammar are optional...

Oh, absolutely. I got my 31 coupe dirt cheap because it was on the market for ages - nobody would bite the bullet and pony up the cash.Originally posted by GT R31Don't get me started on the r31club, no offence to any members/mods who also use this forum, but it seems like every car for sale on that forum will be have someone stating "if this cars still for sale in 3 months, I'll defeintely buy it". then you get the dreamers demanding 10k for stock cars with dodgy paint/panels/bits missing.... The word "Turbo" on there seems to mean "multiply price by factor of 5", nobody there appreciates that you don't get back what you pay...
And the GTS owners I mentioned... As soon as you insinuate that perhaps its not really worth paying $15k or roughly 10x what a normal R31 is worth, just for the privilege of a build number, some 17 year old bilsteins, 16x7" mags, aftermarket seats, body kit and a cam, they all get rather pissy.I've seen things you people wouldn't believe, and from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip-malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moments lost in time; gone like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die.

Yeah that place is weird, if you say anything contrary to what Jake Raby says... watch out! Having the main sponsor as the Moderator is a conflict of interest.Originally posted by Secohhope it's not shoptalk forums. Those guys won't buy spark plugs unless it's sold as a "kit".jon
flygti was stoped n G'ed up to do a a burn out,n as we all no it doesnt take much to get him g'ed, so he did the burnout but who could blame him he had earned it with the effort he put in to be in the cruise and help it go ahead safely

Agree with Dino on this one, the RS forums are one of the best around.Originally posted by PASHN8

that'd be the same forum that lists putting the headlights up on a cold night as a "cold air intake mod" wouldnt it? :huh:Originally posted by Stix Zi'm upset i lost that video of that aboriginal woman taking a dump on a train that was on youtubeOriginally posted by JimSorry, am late to this thread. But the one that Pashn8 is thinking about is pretty much like all the other marque forums as described above.
