If your engineer says you need to take a full ADR test and there's no testing lab in your state.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it

I just want to point out that you are now threatening this guy. It is a two way street mate. I can only take your word for what is happening but you should be careful about what you say and do... Never know what might come back and bite you later. Rememeber there have been allegations that different legal authorities view this and other forums from time to time...

Time to find a new engineer if that happens

At the very least, it sounds like you'll have a completely roadworthy + legal car (emissions aside)

Damn straight. I can't believe what I'm reading. Some engineers just blue plate anything. Go find one.

Why some people bother with shit like this I'll never know...

How did he first come into contact with you? Just some random Bogan who lives in your street and has seen you around, or what?

well we are both unfortunately members of the E-series owners club, my housemate used to be friends with him (housemate owns a EL fairmont ghia V8) and i went round to his house once or twice to help him finish up a head/cam/intake/throttle body replacement on his XR8 ute (which of course means his emissions are FUCKED but he wont believe me when i tell him, what would i know )

i know the engineer i have will pass the car (becuase a: its legal and b: he will ) but i am concerned that if there is something on the car i havent noticed which is illegal, and i have to take the car to pineapple st or wherever i will get anally violated, and then possibly he will too for plating a car that is illegal.

ah well, two days to wait for mod plate
