interesting, wasnt one of the liberal election promis things that they would release this list and suddenly its finding its way out already ...

Either way its a pain would be much easier if they released it with long and lat points to export to my gps software

I think the Liberals also promised to increase the tolerance to 10% instead of 3km/h. I can't see Bracks doing that - he would never give up all the extra revenue he gets from speeding fines - sorry I mean he wouldn't want to stop saving lives
That list is really long too - looks like a list of all the possible places they could put cameras.
If they were genuine they would do it like Perth where they announce each morning the speed camera locations. A massive list like that won't be of much use, relevant for roads you may drive on every day, but you couldn't remember every road for the places you occasionally go, so it might as well not be there at all from that perspective.

I think the cops went over the pollies, as they're sick of enforcing bullshhit themselves. I get that feeling.

10% tollerance doesn't do squat.. if you look at deaths per population and QLD, WA, and NSW (with their 10% or so) vs VIC.. there is no basis that it saves lives. I was pissed off that I read some twats in the paper (and this was an editorial opinion) saying "oh no we can't increase it to 10%, omg, people will die all over the place". FOR FUCKSAKES!
