yes. it is. believe me you get off defects easier if you have an interstate regod car and license. ive gotten out of a major one (cop went over my whole car with a tooth pick) he was an idiot and didnt know what he was doing. but besides that the girl cop asked me when i was heading back to act. i told her in a couple of days and she told me to fix it when i got back. which i said i would (havent been back yet lol).

This is quite true, .. I had my old RX2 in brissie on SA rego for a while .... Jon was with me one night when a cop at an RBT pulled my car over for a full road worthy. .... coz I was from "out of town" I just got a defect for being too loud.

Although if I didnt get the defect cleared within 7 days I was not allowed to drive the car in QLD until it was cleared
