        Drivers of Egypt>Turkey>Sri Lanka>India>Taiwan

Egypt and Turkey probably about the same, mate was working there on a project. More than often but one time the taxi drove through 26 red lights without stopping to his office. Sri Lanka and India is just too crowded. While Taiwan, red means stop and green means go in any direction!...Don't stop for pedestrain and try to squeeze between them...too many scooters!

Asides...Qatar is an interesting place, I heard instead of paying a traffic fines they prefer to just abandon the car and buy a new one instead...could be a reason why their garage is so big! Surely the fines can't be that expensive but that's how it is. What's a money to a Sheik (friend to a colleague) who just abandons his Ferrari after racking up few thousands pounds of traffic infringements that one day. Same Sheik decided he wants a 4x4 and seeks pur colleague for advise on the best 4x4. Colleague says "there are currently 19 different types of 4x4 available". Sheik summons the dealers to bring to his palace one car for him to test drive. On the morning the Sheik catches a cold and cancels but the cars have all arrived...Sheik says OK I'll take them all.

Perhaps we should just issue everyone who isn't from the Shire with one of those oversized rear vision mirrors Forg?

Nah, half of them (is it ~51%?) would just spend the time lookin' at themselves ...
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.
