Saw it today with the family....probably some of the best race action scenes I have seen in a movie Spammy Jnr loved it as well, but was concerned that the green race car was being naughty.

I thought it was very clever how the Porsche Chick had a pin stripe on her arse but you got only see it when her rear spoiler was up......sweet.

wouldnt mind a screen shot of the part where Doc Hudson was lined up against lightning. Looked almost real for a second.

I saw it on sunday, great movie. I loved the parts when Lightning and Sally (the Porsche??) went for a drive up through the mountains, made me realise why I like just going for a drive for the hell of it. And the camber on some of the roads and stuff were to die for!

          Awesome stuff...

Also loved Schumy being the Ferrari...funny stuff. I read on Autosport a while ago that Alonso, Fisi and Hakkinen also had cameo's in there own language versions, pretty cool.
I survived the patio flooding catastrophe of 2012.

I work nights at Coles and had to fill a whole heap of Cars movie toys, little diecasts of all the characters. You can get box sets containing 2-3 characters from particular scenes, or single larger diecasts of individual characters
They are awesome! Unlike most movie toys, they capture the characters perfectly and look as if they just leapt out of the screen. My favourite is a little box set of 3 containing Guido, Luigi, and one of the tractors.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe, and from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip-malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moments lost in time; gone like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die.

agreed 110%, that sequence was a highlight of the movie. especially when they had the flashback to it during the gaudy nascar scenes at the end.

I finally got around to seeing this. I thoroughly enjoyed it and even though the people I went with aren't revheads they really liked it as well. Loads of fun.

Flo's V8 cafe looked brilliant, and now I want to visit the old Route 66! Anyone here driven it?

Out of interest, is there a prototype for Guido? I was interested for some reason but now...meh forget it! :p
