yes - exactly!

I am also struggling to see how a 'passive' Govt Agency such as the RTA came to be in such a powerful position. Insurance and public liability I suppose (again).

the guy from CAMS Head Office just called me,

he can not confirm it, and no-one at CAMS is aware of any RTA action as described above...

maybe it the RTA operating in its own vacuum, to deny Race to the Pie unilaterally, or whatever..?

but i'd be pretty certain that CAMS staff would be aware of such a devastating issue such as this - there are apparently not.

The Organisers (as I originally mentioned) are going to release a statement shortly, so if there is anything I have missed, or mistook in my discussions, hopefully that will clarify it all..

I understand that it affects SO many different areas of income and livelihood of so many people, so mainstream media SHOUD be interested... Unfortunately, it's more often only Newsworthy if it is "spectacular", or a tragic event has occured
