Bill, I recall the money for the track surface being 5 times that of a road, so $7k / 5 = $1400 per metre.

I know when they re did the tram tracks in Bourke street Mall last year it cost $13k a metre...but I dont spose anyone wants a private tram track anyway!

I know it cost 75 million to construct Darlington Park. Obviously that's including all of the amenities etc as well though.
