Just box the chassis rails & solid mount it to the shell, should tighten things up a bit (and make it noisier)

        secoh,

I think that was the model (or close to it) that Rover experimented with Gas turbines. I think one ran at lemans one year? And there was one at the powerhouse at one stage, not sure if it's still there (going back a few years now). Gas Turbine = a sleeper

Why do a Camry when you could do a Corolla with only a little more effort? http://www.geocities.com/jisip333/ This guy has put a 3S-GE into an AE101.

What was the engine bay space like??

i saw a Type 3 Karmann Ghia recently, with a 2.4l MFI 911 engine in it... looked awesome.

engine conversions for compact mercs are ruined by the shock towers and closeness of the chassis rails, a 302 windsor fits though.

                            928 + Chev Gen3 = bogan breakdown money pit

Why do I want to do it?

you don't. (that was a test to weed people out who think V8 engine conversions in 911's are good)

if you're buying a 928 why not stick with the Porsche V8? so long as it's not an S you'll be fine.

just buy a 968 and be done with it - who needs a V8 anyway.

yep go the 968...Zoran's turbo version at 320kW goes well...
